Already Over Summer

So good!!!

     My food experiment this week couldn't have gone better!!!  Just like most of the others, I found this recipe on Pinterest, and it was ridiculously easy and delicious!  I popped my own kernels using a paper lunch bag.   Just pour 1/4 cup of kernels into the bag, place in microwave, and heat for 2:20 minutes.  And there you go!  Homemade microwaved popcorn.  It's much more inexpensive to buy popcorn kernels then microwaved popcorn.  But, plain, microwaved popcorn works just as well for this recipe/   

!WARNING!

Please be very careful when if comes to heating and cooking sugar!  It can get extremely hot and can burn you to the bone!  So, if this were to occur, keep burn under cold, running water, and call 911!

 Mashmallow Caramel Popcorn

Ingredients

1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
9-10 marshmallows
12 c. popcorn

Directions

1. Microwave brown sugar and butter for 2 minutes. Add marshmallows.

2. Microwave until melted, 1 1/2 to 2 minutes. 

 Pour over popcorn.

FITNESS

     I recently discovered of this thing called a "mud run" a few weeks ago..  I've never heard of this before, so I decided to do some research, and I was ecstatic at what I found out!  It's a 5K run with obstacles, and mud, and stuff like that.  It might now sound fun to a lot of you, but to me, this is one of the best things I've ever come across!!!!  And lucky for me, there's one happening pretty close to me at the end of the year and I can't wait to participate!

     I will be participating at the San Birnidino location on November 10th.  It's a little pricey, but is totally worth it to get some good, fun exercise with friends and family!!  Check out http://www.mudfactor.com/!  Maybe you'll run into me there! XD

LITERATURE/WRITING 

      Peter Rabbit was one of my favorite stories growing up!  And I would hope the same for others.  The author was lovely Beatrix Potter.  I'm not going to say too much about the story or the author because I want you to discover it your self!  

     A movie was made about Beatrix Potter's life starring Rene Zellweger and Ewan McGregor called Miss Potter.  It's such a wonderful movie and really opens up your eyes to how these books came to life!
